Payment plans are available, so a policy does not have to be paid in one lump at the counter.

On the sidewalk
Auto, home and commercial cover on the first pane, registration services on the second, the notary seal beside the door, and a money transfer banner in Spanish under the rest. The local 818 number runs along the bottom. Five services on one window, and all five happen behind it.
Through the door
A wood counter, the wall sign above it, green chairs for whoever is ahead of you, and the framed commissions hung where you can read them. Walk-ins are normal. The office stays open until 8pm on weekdays, later than most agencies on this stretch, and until 2pm on Saturday.
The registration desk
Renewals, title transfers, transfers in from another state and lien sales, all submitted from here rather than from a chair at the DMV. The price board is printed and hung behind the desk, so the figure is in front of you before you agree to anything.
The back counter
Ria, Vigo and Orlandi Valuta for money going to family, check cashing for the people who need it, and shipping to South and Central America with tracking and help getting the customs form right. The boxes stacked here are already labelled for Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.
Four desks
Nothing here gets referred out to another office. The policy, the plates, the seal and the shipping label are all done in the same room.
The agent desk
Home, condo, renters, mobile home and fire cover, plus motorcycle, RV and boat. On the commercial side, general liability, business owner property, workers' compensation, contractor cover and bonds. For trucking, cargo, property damage and long haul across 48 states.
Insurance details
A renewal notice, a DMV form, a certificate of insurance a general contractor is demanding before Monday. Bring it to the counter and someone will read it with you, in English or in Spanish, and tell you what it actually asks for. That is the part of this job that does not fit on a quote form.

They are on the wall because customers ask, and because in this business the answer should be visible rather than claimed.
